The Medici Name: As he searched for the right name for his new cue line, world famous cue maker Bob Meucci traced his lineage back to 13th century Italy. Genealogy showed that he shared the same blood line a three popes, numerous Florentine rulers, and other cultural icons of the day who would launch the planet's greatest creative output during the Renaissance. All came from the storied Medici family. The powerful Medici's dominated the political and commercial landscape of Florence and for centuries commissioned some of our most treasured works of art, including those of Michelangelo. From these roots, a new line of cues was born. For decades, Meucci has always been synonymous with beatifully designed pool cues.
